Product Description
All motor carriers, brokers, freight forwarders, and leasing companies operating in interstate commerce must file for UCR annually. This includes any entity that transports or arranges the transport of goods across state lines.
The UCR registration period opens each fall and must be completed by December 31 to remain compliant for the following year. Late filings may result in state enforcement actions or penalties.
You’ll need your USDOT number, company information, and total number of commercial motor vehicles operated in interstate commerce. FCCR uses this information to determine your UCR fee tier and file accurately on your behalf.
UCR fees vary by fleet size and are based on the total number of qualifying commercial vehicles operated. Fee brackets include:
