USDOT Vinyl Decals Overview
Our decals combine your information onto one die-cut adhesive vinyl decal so you don’t have to worry about lining each number and letter up as you apply it to your vehicle. The decals we offer come on a single line and are pre-spaced for easier application. All of our stickers come with instructions to aid you in the application process. Each purchase of a vinyl comes with 2 vinyl stickers (1 set) to apply on each side of the vehicle.
USDOT Number Decal Requirements
USDOT (United States Department of Transportation) requires a USDOT Number be applied to each side of all Commercial Vehicles (Any trucks exceeding 10,001 pounds) that is readable from 50 feet (2″ tall in a contrasting color) and in a readable copy or font. The Decal must be applied to the vehicle (not trailer or fuel tank covers or other removable parts) and permanently attached (not magnetic or paper duct taped to the door).
