Supervisor Training

$169

If your company employs more than one driver, or if you supervise a hired driver, you are required to complete supervisor training on reasonable suspicion of drug and alcohol use in the workplace. FCCR makes compliance simple with an FMCSA-compliant course that meets all DOT requirements and helps supervisors identify signs of substance use and take the right action.

Who Needs Supervisor Training?

Under 49 CFR Part 382.603, any trucking company with two or more drivers, or any employer supervising a driver, must ensure their supervisors complete reasonable suspicion training. This training helps supervisors identify potential alcohol or drug use and outlines the correct steps to refer a driver for testing.

What Does Supervisor Training Include?

FMCSA regulations require:
• 60 minutes of training on recognizing signs and symptoms of alcohol misuse
• 60 minutes of training on recognizing signs and symptoms of controlled substance use

How Do I Complete the Supervisor Training Course?

FCCR’s Supervisor Training Course includes two 60-minute video modules on reasonable suspicion testing, followed by a short quiz. Upon completion, participants receive a certification of training to document FMCSA compliance.
